He starred for three seasons as "Jack Pryor" on American Dreams, NBC's critically acclaimed television drama, in which the Wall Street Journal declared the "versatile actor's performance is a marvel." Tom's diverse feature film credits include Zodiac helmed by David Fincher, Flags Of Our Fathers directed by Clint Eastwood, Murder By Numbers, Red Dragon, Father's Day, and Die Hard II. Among his vast television appearances, Tom has had series regular roles on The Nine, The Naked Truth co-starring Tea Leoni, LA Law, Central Park West and HBO's Emmy-winning mini-series From The Earth To The Moon, in which he portrayed astronaut "Dick Gordon." Other highlights include stints on notable television shows such as House, Lie To Me, Grey's Anatomy, Law & Order SVU, Medium, Will & Grace, Providence, The 4400, and the famous 'conversion' episode of Seinfeld. On stage, Tom has performed on and Off-Broadway including the award-winning Broadway production of Craig Lucas' Prelude To A Kiss. As a director, Tom has helmed numerous short films and television projects including multiple episodes of Greys Anatomy, Private Practice, Boston Legal, Ugly Betty and American Dreams, as well as stints on The Cleaner, Army Wives, The Deep End, Dirty Sexy Money, Men In Trees and The Beast. Tom's short films include George and Gracie, The Bridge, and the ruthless comedy Studio City (written by Jack Coleman) which was an audience favorite at the Los Angeles International Film Festival.
