Trained at Guildford School of Acting, Oliver first appeared on the big screen in What a Girl Wants (2003) where he appeared alongside Amanda Bynes and Colin Firth, playing the role of Ian, which gave him the rare privilege of showcasing both his acting and musical talents. With a performance that gained him much attention and led him to Los Angeles, he then went on to appear In Raise Your Voice (2004) with Hilary Duff, playing Jay a young musician, again combining his two performance strengths. After returning home to England in 2005, Oliver went on to play a lead role in the BBC series Innocent (2006-2007), with a strong cast of performers including Stephen Graham. Oliver continues to work in both the US and the UK.
